A Bethany Family
Biblical Fiction about Mary, Martha, and Lazarus.
Ordinary lives. Extraordinary grace.

About "A Bethany Family"
Mary, Martha, and Lazarus were breaking.
Martha had been crushed by a year of unbearable losses, leaving her in a world filled with endless chores and no room for love.
Mary was a lovely young woman whose music charmed all who heard it. But behind her flute, she struggled with self-doubt and a heart turning toward danger.
Lazarus was a successful trader, willing to say whatever it took to close a sale, always focused on the next deal. Then death closed on him.
Then Jesus came to Bethany. He healed the damage within their souls and shared moments of transcendent joy with them. Faithful to Scripture, A Bethany Family goes deeper into three remarkable lives and the unexpected miracles that made their story one of hope arising from sorrow.

The Author, Andy Clark
I have been writing stories for over twenty-five years, the last several of them centered on faith. I am drawn to what those stories show about character—grief, stubbornness, friendship, and the hard work of being changed by grace. The writing itself is often a mix of overwhelming joy and grave concern. When I am not at the desk, I live in Richmond, Virginia, with my wife, our son, and the real head of the household, our grand-dachshund Luna. There I often receive one of God's greatest gifts: laughter. I am grateful for the love of Christ, for the chance to write about it, and for the people that love has placed in my life.
